This is on the recent order of the Delhi Government ordering closure of shops, establishments and cinema halls in the national capital on Oct 3rd & 14th on the sidelines of the Common Wealth Games - More of a security measure, this would paralyse normal life and result in loss of earnings to shop keeps, Cinema Hall Owners etc., Can this be construed as a ‘Bandh’? A Bandh need not be necessarily be called by Political parties or activists. This is my view. Views and expressions invited for debate.

This is another sad shoot of CWG Management by the Government. Afterall for how long we people have to suffer and bear inefficient governance. At the end it is always said that since in democracythe voting power lies with a common citizen and it is him who has chosen a wrong Statesman and thus he is estopped from criticising inefficient elected leader. But I still maintain untill the provision of Negative Voting is introduced, out electoral process is amended and the general character of the candidate is made transparent, till then we have to face these kinds of consequences, which are ruining our future and telling upon our progress. I would like to ask, had the venue been at USA, would the Obama Government also take such steps to call for a disguised 'BANDH'? And I'm sure excepting India, no other Country would have taken such step. It is like if one is afreaid of Divorce, he must not marry. This is certainly not an efficiency of governance. The efficiency would have emerged, if the security would have been provided to the citizens amidst of normal city-life during CWG particularly. We citizens have to agitate this. The Government has time and again shown its incompetence and I am surprised, why the Goverment do not surrender then?
This remind me of a meaningful excerpt: "Sar se seene tak kahin, paet se paaun tak kahin, ek jagah ho to batayein, dard idhar hota hai".
