CSJ, as an organization aims to utilize the Law as an instrument to effectuate a proactive and positive change in the existing social structures. One element of this purpose is engaging with Law schools and Law students to influence the discourse and process with respect to engagement with Human Rights issues on University campuses. In addition to pedagogical as well as institutional initiatives taken by CSJ to realize its main objective, the concept of having a Student Ambassador is a complementary addition to existing engagements. The main output envisaged as per the design of programme is to make University spaces more diverse and democratic and receptive to human rights issues This initiative also acts as an outreach and awareness tool, providing law students with an opportunity to engage continuously with CSJ, develop their professional skills and collaborate with people and organizations that are interested in Human Rights Issues and are enthusiastic to learn more about the same.
