i am an engineering student. i txted to a number which i got from one of my kik friend. Just in friendly manner i txted her. she was a law college student. i asked her like can we be frnds like such questions and chats were going on. at around 10p.m she said she dont like to txt me..so i said bye to her and stopped txting her..then again i recieved msg in watsapp from an unknwn guy telling that he is my frnd.really i dont know who is he. Next morning i txt that girl and asked whther she gave my number to any of her guy frnds to find out me..but she said no. But she kept on asking me how i got her number and later i told her that i got from kik. but she threatend of lodging a complaint on my number..so i even sent the screenshots of the chat between me and the guy who gv the number. (she txted him about y he gv her numbr to me and he said no). she told me wats in braces. i really said sorry and stopped txting her. but she still threatens me lodging a complaint..

my mistake is that ive txtd to a unknw numbr.

but i didnt send offensive msgs to her and even stopped txting her wen she told not to txt her. coz she is law student and hv sme power she threatens me.

Can she lodge a complaint against me?

Is what did is a punishable crime?

pls help me out.
