Right of grandson in ancestral property and Law of Limitation

AnonymousLLB 27 Jul 2015, 10:37

MY Grand father (Mother’s father) died intestate,in late 80’s when I was 35 years old. I was staying away from my parents due to my profession. My mother had sold the ancestral properties of my grand father without my knowledge and consent and when questioned about this, she said as the only legal heir, she sold everything as per legal opinion ; however she assured, she will settle my share in due course. My mother also expired in 2005 without giving anything to me. Whether the sale by my mother is correct and whether there isany legal course of action for me now and whether the Law of Limitation will apply in respect of ancestral properties?
