Dear Sir,

My wife happens to be one of the family members wherein she did not participate in the legal proceedings( suit) of a family property case. The judgement has come and the share of 1/9th has been given to the plaintiff (one of the 9 family members ).

What is the status of my wife as well as other non participating members in the suit.

The judge now appointed a commissioner to survey the property.

Can my wife now claim proportionate share and if so how to proceed.
