University Institute of Legal Studies (UILS) invites teams from various institutes/colleges/universities to participate in its first ever Law Fest, “Arguendo: Conquer to Concur” being organized from 26th March to 28th March, 2015.

Following events will be a part of the Law Fest:

a. Literary Events- comprising Debate; Essay Writing; Ad Mad Show and Spell bee Competitions

b. UILS National Trial Advocacy Moot Court Competition

c. UILS National Client Counseling Competition

Registration

The teams will be registered on ‘first come first serve’ basis; upto a maximum of 16 teams for each event. The last date for registration is 18th March 2015. The registration fee for each event is as under:

a. Literary events: Rs. 1000/- per participant per event

b. UILS National Trial Advocacy Moot Court Competition: Rs. 4000/- per team (team will consist of maximum four members)

c. UILS National Client Counseling Competition: Rs. 2000/- per team (team will consist of maximum two members)

The proposition for the National Trial Advocacy Moot Court Competition is attached along with this invitation. The focus area of UILS National Client Competition will be Intellectual Property Rights and Consumer Protection Laws.
