Twenty three years ago, there was a seven year old girl who was molested by her seventeen year old male cousin in Kerala. He took off her pants and underwear and lay on top of her with his underwear off, but did not penetrate her.

Twenty three years have passed since the incident. The now thirty year old female wants to report the molestation now and take the case to court. Is there a statute of limitations preventing her from doing so or can she still take the case to court?
