Hello,

Suppose if a person named Akash issues a cheque or another person/company or an NGO for an amount of say 50,000 INR.

Please note that Akash has not taken money from the other person/company or an NGO. He just wanted to help them with some money as goodwill but before the cheque is encashed Akash changes his mind and decides to not give the money and hence the cheque is bounced.

Now what are the rights of the payee in this situation? Can they do something legally?
