A Call to Arms

This isn’t an invitation to a moot. This is a war cry. A clarion call to warriors, fighters and troopers. A battle cry to soldiers, armed with their arguments, to come forth and fight. We call the daring to come join us as we battle it out in a ruthless crusade that we call 3rd Indraprastha National Moot , 2014.

What is it?

University School of Law and Legal Studies, Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University is organizing its 3rd Indraprastha National Moot, 2014 from 10th to 12th October, 2014. The competition expects to host law schools from all around the country. With the teams competing against each other to win the coveted trophy and the cash-prize, the competition is promised to result in 3 days of constructive engagement in legal discourses and argumentation.

Come One, Come All

We call out the Harvey Specters. We summon young padawans to use the force for us. We welcome old wizards to spellbind us. We invite the Bhagwatis, the Krishna Iyers, the Khannas to participate in a 3 day extravaganza of debate, discussion and dissent. This is Indraprastha National Moot 2014. Come armed.

Registration

If you feel you have what it takes to fight this season’s fiercest battle, confirm your participation by sending an email with details of the participants (Name, Contact number, Whether Speaker/Researcher) to (mootcourtcommittee.uslls[at-the-rate-of]gmail[dot]com) along with a scanned copy of the registration form and a demand draft of Rs. 3000/- by 29th August, 2014 at the latest by 1700 hrs. The draft of must be drawn in favour of “Registrar, GGSIPU”, payable at New Delhi.

Teams must post the hard copies of the filled registration form along with the draft of Rs 3000/- by 5th September 2014 (1700 hrs) to

Memorial Submission

Soft Copy

The soft copies of the memorial from each side must reach the organizers on (mootcourtcommittee.uslls[at-the-rate-of]gmail[dot]com) in pdf or doc or docx format at the latest by 17th September, 2014 (1700 hours). Submissions made after 1700hrs, 17th September, 2014 shall entail a negative penalty of 2 marks from each side per day. No memorial will be accepted after 20th September, 2014.

Hard Copy

One copy i.e. hard copy of the memorial from each side must reach the organizers by 22th September, 2014 at

The teams must carry 3 copies of the memorial from each side and submit the same during formal registration.

Travel Plan

Participating teams are requested to send in their travel plan (available below) at (mootcourtcommitte.uslls[at-the-rate-of]gmail[dot]com) at the latest by 10th September, 2014
