Hello,
My father inherited the property from his father, My father has 2 daughters and 2 step daughters.
In case he (My father) needs to sell the Inherited property, will he need the consent of the daughters?
Also, what is the share between daughters and step daughters? Or is it entirely upto my father.
Please advice.

Dear,
So far as the natural daughter are concerned, your father would have to take their consent, but regarding the step daughters he is free not to take their consent and they cannot object (step daughters), because of the fact they are not considered as the legal heirs under Hindu Succession Act 1956.
