Dear Sir/Ma’am, my father is building a new house which is about to be completed. Since we live in a hill station, we don’t have any flat lands so we build houses very close to each other, sometimes the ground level of our houses don’t match. Now my neighbour has started threatening us that he will put a stay order on our building because when it rains the water reflects from our railing and fall’s on their roof. Does he even have any legal power regarding this matter? We previously have obtained NOC from them before starting with the construction. Please suggest a way to come out from this bully. My father is a cardiac patient and this daily threats has put his health in jeopardy!
