My father and mother both died without a will. They had a number of properties that they had acquired over the years in Tamilnadu. I have a brother and since I live overseas I could not visit India during my father’s death. My brother walked away and emptied the house where my parents lived taking with him the documents to all my parents properties - all without intimating me.

My father also had some ancestral properties that are in custody of my father’s brother. They are refusing to provide any details of my ancestral properties to me as well.

What are my options to get a fair share of my properties - both earned by my parents and my ancestral properties?
