3 year LLB - Admission Question

AnonymousLLB 18 Apr 2014, 06:59

I have a BCOM and I have been living abroad for a long time. I am moving back to Bangalore and would like to go back to Law School this year if I can. Since I have been away for more than a decade, I have little info about the law schools there or the admission process.

I found KLE law school and it seems to be a good school that actually has a 3 year program. I am obviously not eligible for the 5-year programs (nor do I actually want to be in them). When do LLB programs start the classes each year? Is it August/September? Also, how do I get admitted to a 3-year program? It doesn’t seem like there is a CLAT exam for 3-year LLBs. So, I’m wondering how I will get admitted. Please help with whatever answers you can give.

Finally, will I be considered under the NRI category, even though I’m an Indian citizen (because I have been an NRI for the past 10 years)?
