how to choose which specilisation to take in llm?

I want to know how do students decide which specialization to opt for in master of law. Apart from personal choice and relevant information how to decide exactly which field would be suitable for us? plz can anybody answer me iam at very vexed state.

I think one should gain some work experience by visiting the courts or working in law firms and developing an idea of your area of interest as well as keeping an eye on the latest developments in the legal market. That’s why LLM courses prefer work ex so that they have candidates with actual field knowledge of sorts and know how things work. Excluding those who are interested in pure academia and are sure of their area of research.
IMO only law students who are usually confident about their area of specialization head for LLM’s right out of college. Also, there are certain general LLM courses that you should look into like the common law course at UBC, Vancouver. I believe its a very general course.
