Hi
I want to change my name.How can i change it.Please tell me all the process,cost and time taken in the process.After change of name can i get it changed in my certificates too. I m from jaipur ,Rajasthan . Please reply as soon as possible.

definitely you have optionto change your name. make a affidivat and publish your change name 2 or 3 news paper. then you go to board oofice they also change your name officially in certificate also.
I need to rectify the spelling of my last name. Does that constitute a name change? The W in my last name has to be replaced by V. For some reason my grandfather used wrong english to write his vernacular name and made a mess with the spelling. My father has used the same one my grandpa used. But I noticed my uncle use a different one with V. How do I legally change it to the new spelling, especially since my college records show W in the name. example..
for instance - Walawalkar has to be written as Valavalkar.
