I have paid for building a house which is registered in my father’s name. He has made a will to disown me. Do I have a claim on the house for which I have paid?

You have a claim only to the extent of costs incurred by you in building the house.

The money you have paid is considered to be debt, thereby you have claim for that extent only. Inheritance Laws are varying from religion to religion.
Presumably, if you are Hindu by religion, then title of ownership was with your father i.e. he was having sole ownership of the property in question. However, as per Hindu Succession Act, Hindu individual is allowed to yield his entire property via. legally enforceable will (with due formalities). Therefore, your father had every right to disown you but the money you have invested.
On the other hand, if you are Muslim by religion, you won’t be disowned by your father. The Holy Koran (4:12) mentioned of son’s unavoidable share in deceased father’s property. However principles of Muslim succession restricts rights of owner of property to yield its property via. Will to only one-third of total property.
