Dear Sir,

I have registered a document with one of the sub registrar office towards a plot registration. The plot is one among the plots in the layout on a big land. The owner of the land had given power to an agent and that agent had made layout in the area with around 30 plots. It is not a CMDA/DTCP approved layout, it belongs to a panchayat.

I am the first person to register a plot in the layout and I did it on 4th Sep’13. I have even received the receipt for the registration from the registrar office. When I went to collect back the registered document after 45 days (as they said it will take 45 days to get the document) the registrar said that he has not got the FM sketch of the layout and hence will not be able to register till he gets it.

I am really surprised to hear this. Is it logical on his part to say that a document (FM Sketch) is missing to register after 45 days. Is it not to be verified before taking it for registration. Almost three months to go, even till date it is not being corresponded to us by any means by the registrar office. Even the power agent is currently not available in town to reach him.

Please suggest me how to proceed.
