case againest misuse of 498a

Dear Sir,
I want to know the law about DEFAMATION aginest misuse of 498a. case is at Bhubenswar, Odisha, and I am staying at pune. Police elminated my name (& my wife) from chargesheet and I have the certificate copy. I was at Japan at the time of incedent. Now I am at Pune. I request you to kindly suggest me what to do. As I got my carrer movement slow to this false aligation by my younger brothers wife.
