I need kind help from any legal advisor.

I purchased postpaid services of a new company in my area Pune. After few days the data dongle they provide stopped working. I reported company the same,they kept on giving me several ways like to get device checked by nearest showroom. Meanwhile the bill grown to few thousands even though I haven’t used the device (this I think is as per rule). After receiving lot of bill mails. I had talk with companies representative and he said that the issue will be settled with the settlement amount of 500. I paid it and got the receipt.

Now after almost 7-8 months later I got call from somebody saying it’s call from delhi >>>> court and there is some thing in your name. She provided me lawyers name who filed against me. I had talk with him. He now says I have to pay the bill. Otherwise I have to be present in delhi >>>> court in front of company representatives.

I have got no letter, no mail only this call asking for the bill to be couriered by cheque.

I can pay those few thousands and want to avoid legal headache.
