My Grandfather expired before 15 years and did not leave any will for anyone. My Father has 5 brothers and 4 sisters. However, the other brothers and sisters have mutually agreed to sell the property to one of the sister and they have taken money from that sister( A lum sum amount equally) and signed a normal 100Rs stamp paper. However, my father and two other brothers have not yet signed on that paper. This property was a pagadi chawl and the last rent receipt had come on my grandfathers name. But, recently the rent receipt has stopped coming(May be as the main owner just does not wish to take any interest in this pagadi type property). Hence, no one has any proof that the property was in my grand father’s name but, we do have last rent receipt which had come before 10 years on my grand father’s name. Now, the sister is trying to sell off the property(though I am confused as to how can she do that when the property is not in her name). I wish to file a stay order on this property so that my father’s sister cannot sell this property.

Please advise as to how much would be the cost to file a stay order on this property.
