I married a girl who was a Bihari and I was a Punjabi , I got the registery done 14th Feb 2013 .. My parents did knew about this before hand but i went to the registration office with my mom ..

Now when the girls family came to know about the same they accepted the marriage

The girl was staying on rent and I use to visit her place and as we were legally married so we maintained all the relation of a husband and wife , But i never use to stay there in the rented house , the girl also use to come to my house

After this we did our official engadgment in March 2013

Our date for marriage was taken in teh month of Dec

LATELY I had a fight with my DAD and NOW he is stating that he will throw me out of his house . I am saying in the house for 30 years .The house was bought by my Grandmother and then the house was transfered to my DAD name after her death .

My DAD is not happy that as the GIRL that I am marring us very poor and they cannot met our status . He has asked me to ask for 10 lac but that is not possible .

I want to ask can my WIfe do a 498 on my father asking for dowry ?

Can my dad throw me out of the house like this ?

Can I take any leagal step to get a STAY in the house and ask my legal right ?
