copyright registration

Hello all,

I would like to know while applying for registration of copyright for websites, whether we need to send the soft copy or hard copies during the time of filing? Or is it ok to mention only the website link in the filing documents?

In case of author books,

Is require to send the single hard copy of the entire book?

A person applying for a copyright in a work, whether published or unpublished, can do so only in accordance with the provisions of the Copyright act 1957.

Copyright office in India deals with registration of copyright and granting permissions or licenses. You can file such application online and check its status regularly.

Copy right Application for web site:

Three copies of the all pages in spiral, if published, otherwise two copies.

if you also want to file code of the web site, please file 3 copies of the same in CD, if published, otherwise two copies.

Same details require in case of the book. file 3 sets of the complete book {in binding form} if published, otherwise two copies.
