lost sale deed of house.please help!

sir, my father had a buissnes of construnction.in 2008,due to his abrupt death we faced many loses. there was a house which was completed but the customers were not able to do the full payment so my mother decided to mortgage it till they do the full payment.however, we are not able to find the actual sale deed of that house it is misplaced.i need help,what can we do about it?
