I just wanted a legal advice related to properties. We have 20 decimals of land. The 1st half is where we live and on the 2nd half we made rented homes. As my father passed away in 2006, he build the rented homes in the other half of the land. So after his death, on 2008 the neighbors at the back of our property are charging against us as the tenants are walking by the roads beside their house. The point rises here by the owner of the house that the roads are given by them and they are only suppose to walk in that and they aren’t allowing our tenants to walk from there. The things are going on since the last 5 years. My mother the only person is not able to handle the situation. The family is complaining against my mother that she is harassing them. Actually the are the once who are tormenting us from the last half decade. We are living here since the last 26 yrs and they just arrived 5 yrs back, back to the place.

I just wanted to now is there any rule in the Indian constitution that the roads can be used by the people who make the roads. please suggest me so that i can be sure and will be able to defend my family. I have never been into such issues yet. Please help me.
