A cheque was issued for a certain amount was bounced twice. Legal Notice was served to the accused within the stipulated time.

However, the accused gave a fresh cheque for the same amount just few days before expiration of time period for filing of complaint. The fresh cheque also got bounced.

Now my question is that can i file the complaint on the basis of legal notice issued for earlier cheque or I again have to send a new legal notice and wait for 15 days for the payment.
