Suggestion needed for property dispute

sasikanth8 9 Jul 2013, 14:12

We have a land which is bought sometime around 1993.We built a house in 2011. There is a road leading to the land but when when we started building the house we realised that the road was moved on to our land.

The 10ft road was occupying almost 8ft along the length of the site.We built a wall around our site which the residents demolished(wall blocking the road) during the construction of the house and gave complaint to surveyor.

The surveyor made measurements and concluded that we are not building anything on the road. The road was in such a way that if we built the wall there will only be two feet left.

The residents are used (using our site as road) to this route and started quarrels frequently and bringing in political people in to this.

Today around 30 residents made a quarrel again.(we are placing rocks around the site blocking the road to prevent the habit of using our site as road).I gave a complaint to police on the residents they are quarreling and abusing.A person X is making meetings and bringing the people so i stated his name in the complaint.

How to do deal with this situation?

sorry for the long message , hope you guys understand what i am stating.

you must first get it in writing from the surveyor / patwari /any concerned competent authority that whether the said Land is to be used for road purposes or not. You can thereafter approach the court with appropriate jurisdiction to take a stay order against RWA damaging your constructed wall.

Thanks for your reply.

I am not concerned about the wall damage because it was done 6months back.

I want to construct a new wall without the residents interference. Can i still approach as stated by you?

What is RWA?
