i got 310 marks in d law fac rank around 1600. i dont think dat dere are ny chances of gettng ny seat dere. coz last tym not even a single seat got vacant in d general cat. so m not hoping much. well m too thinking for doing c.s.
you can do one thing take admisn in any ccs colg where attendence is not an issue. if u want to appear again in law fac u can give d exam next year. well dats what m planning. rest is ur wish.. after ol u knw btr abt ur situation..
thank u so much 4 d advice 1 more thing i want to knw if u can ans me i really dnt kmw hw to crack these entrances coz generally people say that u need to study more than 2,3 months to crack it its nt abig deal n here i am i studied 4 more than 4 months ofcourse nt in regular interval coz of bcom n i read dd basu 4 constitution my legal aptitude n awareness were my strong points.still couldnt get d desired score.its my aim to become a lawyer n du is d only feasable option 4 me so i will sit nxt yr again 4 it. any suggesstions 4rm ur syd on scoring btr or on hw to score btr to get seat der i dnt knw wat exactly kind of study material is required to clear it . it would b gr8 help 4 me.
hey i had also prepared for more den 4 months. even attended nsui last days coaching. what i felt that a large part of the question paper covered eng n reasonig. which most of d people dont prepare like me. i was unable to solve d logic part while my friend who is preparing for civils found dem very easy. another thing is dat, most of those who are preparing for civils also take this exam n they crack it very easily coz they r very good at eng logic n gk. as u may have noticed legal part dint have many questions, anybody could clear it who was strong in d oder 3 sections,
thus i would suggest prepare eng n logic well. gk was mostly curent. i had waisted so much tym reading history geo science but no question came frm it. .
n u can never predict what d question ppr will hv. i was not able to clear it last year also. i waisted my whole year n today m back to square one, so once again think abt dropng dis year, either join c.s. or sum ncr colg. be prepared to face d worst.
thanx 4 ur useful advice .
A lot of people (myself included) had prepared for the DU LLB exam with a reasonable amount of hard work. Most did not get through.
The paper was easy this year, albeit lengthy - but definitely easier than that of the previous year’s. The problem was, everyone else found it easy as well. And this year saw a minimum of 10-20% increase from last year, in terms of the people giving the exam.
The DU LLB entrance exam is no longer a simplified “cake-walk”. So, the next time the friendly neighbourhood smart-mouth puts out a colloquialism “Kya hai yaar. Kuch bhi nahi. Xyz bande ka ho gaya tha” - make sure to smirk once and smack them twice. They don’t know what they’re talking about.
Having mentioned all of the above, its easier to crack the DU LLB than the CLAT. All you need to remember is, you’re preparing for a much easier version of the civils exam. Have your current and static GK in shipshape and your logic + english in reasonably decent state. SS guide and CSR should suffice. Also read newspapers for 12 months before exam (preferably the Hindu). Lastly and less importantly, joining a coaching institute near DU north campus might be a smart move. Your chances of getting through will soar higher, if you join such an institute.
thanks i will surely follow d instructions mentioned above nxt yr
hi i cleared the entrance this year and would like to say that the best way to clear the entrance is to keep in check the number of questions you attempt
also the quality of study matters not the number of months put in
study from ss guide and ull surely get through
