ADMISSION TO ILS LAW COLLEGE PUNE

I HAVE 82.92 PERCENTAGE OF MARKS IN MY +2..AND 98% IN MY 10 TH. I HAS APPLIED FOR ILS ADMISSION..MY POSITION IN THE GENERAL MERIT LIST IS 259(SCIENCE STREAM,OPEN).DO I HAVE A CHANCE TO GET ADMITTED TO ILS LAW COLLEGE PUNE?

I am an ILS passout. Firstly, if you want to waste 5 years go there. No added value is brought to the students as the faculty is substandard and at times they even teach in Marathi. Also, their placements are horrible. Ideal option is to do law from a National Law College through CLAT or at your home town. Ensure that you intern every year with reputed law firms and do your last 3-4 internships at a law firm you want to join thereby increasing you possibilities of getting a PPO.

If you are very keen on ILS, bear in mind that they churn out 3 lists for general admissions but the cutoff is usually higher that your marks. You should go to ILS and meet with them personally try to get through to their management seats. They do some back door admissions as during my time they were authorized to have 270 students however, we were a batch of 400.
