I was adopted by my aunt 10 years ago and I am a resident of USA. My father in India has agricultural land that he wants to register on my name. Since NRI’s can only inherit agricultural property in India, am I eligible to inherit this property. My passport does not contain my biological fathers name although my birth certificate which was made in India has his name.
