Dear Sir,

My name is Abhishek. I need your support & help. I had taken money of Rs. 75000/- from a person. That time I was doing a job in a Pvt. Company & through this company I knew the person. When I was taking this money I signed a contract for paid him Rs. 100000/- & also issued 2 cheques for Rs. 50000/- each. Unfortunately due to some of my personal problem I was not be able to cleared his cheque & both the cheques were bounced. I was asking some more time from him. That time he said to me that issued another 2 fresh cheques from different savings bank account & I returned the money he also returned me the cheques. That time I also informed him that I don’t have enough money to clear you cheques. But he again deposit the fresh 2 cheques & dishonourd the same. Also he informed my office & my job was gone. That time I was in a big financial problem for more than 6 months. After that he did 2 different cases for that against me. He had only one legal documents & 2+2 cheques . Now my lawyer said that you have to pay both the monies i.e. Rs. 2,00,000/- though you have not taken from him because you don’t have any papers but he has papers for one legal document & 4 cheques. Now I agree to pay him Rs. 100000/- to him but he is not agreed. Kindly suggest me what I should do for save myself from this allegations. I am worried that my lawyer said if you not paid Rs. 200000/- within time then you will be punished for 2 years jail. I request you to kindly give me a suggestion to recover from this false situation.

engage a lawyer and fight the case.

the initial cheque bouncing definitely goes against you. but if you fight, two things happen, one this man will get tired and agree to a settlement.

secondly you get some time to arrange for funds.

look at it this way, you have to fight the case. dont have a choice. fight it. if a lawyer says you have a weak case, go to another lawyer who is strong enough to fight your case.

dont worry about these things.
