I have lost my flat documents and as the flat was bought in 80s it wasnt registered.. what do I do in this regard pls help

Take the certified copy if the registrar have but I dont think now they will keep the same so file a police complaint, keep the recipt and give in the newspaper (english and 1 local language( vide any advocate on the subject matter.
