Christ - is it worth ?

Hello, i’m in a great dilemma of applying to Christ.. the college looks fine and i hear it has a good infrastructure.

But the fee is very expensive (adding the accommodation expenses in bangalore etc).. and if the placements scenario is good, i would like to join there.. But going by an article in legallyindia on last year’s placement at Christ, it looks like the placements are pretty bad. I’m not from a family that can easily afford so much money without the guarantee of good placement.

So please enlighten me with the placement scenario at Christ for 2013 batch. And is it worth it?

No matter what anyone tells you, it’s not worth it and it’s not value for money. You could probably do better, even join a state university (like Bangalore University, Mumbai University etc.) and work hard on your internships and you’ll do significantly better than Christ.

Again, don’t be drawn in by the propoganda, there will be around 300-400 students per batch + placement has been looking horrible for a while now + the college authorities deserved to be punched. So all of that.
