Adultery: Married woman blackmails married man. Who should be punished?

ponty 20 Mar 2013, 13:31

Scenario :

A married woman gets involved in a relationship with her adult old friend(unmarried).

In their relationship they also indulge in sex several times.

Now the woman gets pregnant with the guys’ kids, her husband comes to know about the affair and the guy gets married to some other girl.

Now this married woman threatens the guy to screw his marriage, which he is trying to avoid.

She blackmails him and threatens him on regular basis.

Question: what should be outcome of this scenario?

who should be punished, guy or the the woman(for blackmailing, extraditioning)?

that depends largely who comes forth with a case.

D guy who indulged with the married women get s punished for adultery.

d girl who blackmails get s punished for that.

you need to understand this first:

“every issues does not have a legal solution”

having said that, first clarify whether the woman is going to have this child or not.

if not, then that would really reduce difficulties. both moral and legal.

if she decides to have the kid, it would complicate the matter a bit more.

will her husband file for divorce ? will the father of the child accept his responsibility ?

while typing this answer, I realized that the query as you have framed has too many unanswered gaps.

if this is not a hypothetical situation then I would strongly recommend the girl to seek counselling from her parents and seek legal advise after stating all the facts correctly.

if you are the guy seeking advise, then it is unclear how the girl would blackmail. doesnt she stand to lose more ?
