Hi,
I am BA LLB (H) graduate with masters in MBA (HR &IR). I have over 2 years of practicing exp as an advocate and over 2 years experience in one of the top MNC’s of Kolkata as an HR. I would really like to get a job role of a corporate lawyer working especially in statutory compliance because of which I am now thinking of pursuing CS. Please guide me as to my future prospects and whether I am in the right track.

I would think yourqualifications and experience can’t hurt… For some talk on CS, do check this thread: http://www.legallyindia.com/index.php?option=com\_kunena&view=topic&catid=6&id=1431&Itemid=515#5501
Ultimately, if I were you I’d just try getting into a job already and you can always do the CS qualification at the side…
I am already working as an HR in one of the MNC’s but since I have done my LLB I wanted to work as a corporate lawyer. So planning to do my CS. My qualifications are BA LLB (H) with MBA in HR & IR and presently looking for ward to CS will all these qualifications help get me the job of a corp lawyer or is it a waste. Please guide.
Yes, as I said, it’s definitely possible / helpful, but what’s more important that qualifications is your experience, so try applying for the job you want already, or a corporate law job similar to what you want, and then do your CS at the same time…?
