Advice on how to start a law firm

Dear sir

I want to start and register a law firm in india

I am LL.M in corporate law and practicing lawyer in khamgaon dist buldana since last 6 years

I am also registered member of Mah Bar Council Of Mumbai &Goa

Plz help me to set my idea with all requirments

As far as I know, you don’t need to do anything to register your law firm - the bar councils don’t really recognise law firms as anything other than a collection of advocates.

If you can practice, then you can just start calling yourself Shrikant Shelke & Co or whatever you like from tomorrow, start taking partners, hiring associates, and winning work, hopefully…

You just need to do the same types of things as any other business, get an office address, service tax number, and so on… Hope that helps.
