a psycho person threatened me and i recorded it. what should i do

i received a threatening call from a psycho person today. he knows abut my house, family and all relatives.
when he called me i recorded the call from my other phone(video taped it, which shows his number as well).
but if i complain to police and even if he get charged and go to jail, what guarantee is it the he wont harm me or my family anyday later. is there any long term solution for this or i will have to adress his demand???
please help me..

Don’t let such threats bother you. Either it is random, or the person wants you harmed.
Report the matter to the police, on arrest try and find out why that person is stalking you in the first place, try reach the root of the matter. If there is no root of the threat, then refer the matter to a mental asylum and ask for the persons commutation.
