I have 5 yrs IT experience in project delivery.I want to shif to the legal side,kind of a domain expert within the software sector or any corporate. I would like to pursue a distance education. After searching I found 2 courses related to law. Both are UGC(DEC) approved.

1. Masters of Business Law - NLS, Bangalore

2. PGD in Cyber law - Nalsar, Hyderabad

(Also there is an option of PGD in cyber law from Asian school of cyber laws - not DEC approved)

I have a few questions reg the same.

1. Will the distance course from these reputed law schools be valued by corporates?

2. If so, will these degrees help me switch to the legal side of either s/w industry or corporates?

3. Out of the two, which will suit me?

a) In terms of using the current experience(how much ever value it could add) to make a shift

b) In terms of the quality of the course structure
