I hve cmplted engineering n i am doing job in software firm bt now i am planing to leave ths n wanna do LLM , my age is 28years.
my quest is : after LLM can i do advocate/lawyer practice in court… yes/no???

You cannot directly do LL.M without doing LL.B, LL.B degree is a must in order to practice as a lawyer!after that Clear the Bar Council of India exam, then only you can practice as a lawyer & yes you become eligible for practice in court

but in CLAT exam written , any graduate or LLB eligible for LLM course …!!!

Eligibility for Post-Graduate Programmes
To be eligible for appearing in CLAT-2012, a candidate should have obtained a LL.B/B.L. Degree or an equivalent degree from a recognised University with not less than 55% marks in aggregate (50% in case of SC/ST /OBC and persons with Disability)*.
Candidates who have appeared in the qualifying degree examination and are awaiting results are also eligible to appear in the test**.
*Subject to state reservation at the University concerned
**The candidate must have passed the qualifying examination at the time of his/her admission and be able to submit its proof.
