Harrassment at work place

AnonymousLLB 6 Oct 2012, 06:50

Dear Sir/Madam

I work as Assistant Proffessor in a private medical College. I am continuously being harrased by my head of the department for nearly 2 years now. She discriminates, abuses orally in front of the whole department and has isolated me from the whole department. I am under sort of social outcast/ social boycott. I am not informed about the deparmental activities. No one right from collegues to lower down in the cadre talk to me. Everyone uses regional language that i don’t understant in my presence even for official work or meetings. My boss is unfair and imposes others mistakes on me. Even deparmental clerk misbehaves with me and she is encouraged to do so. This is causing great deal of stress to me and is compromising my mental, even physical health and also my social well-being.

I have tried to speak to higher authorities. Though they listen to me and reassure me but it further aggravates the situation.

Kindly help me. What legal action I can take in such a situation.

Regards

AA

You can File Case under Defamation & Harassment,& you can claim reasonable compensation for that also the persons who are involved in mistreating you can be suspended if situation is severe enough! Also the higher authorities who don’t listen can be sued under ‘Negligence & Abatement

Thank You
