I would appreciate if you please let me know the Law on illegal/forged property ownership in India.

Here is a brief description of a case which I am facing:

While I was out of India for a long period, the original property documents was held by my parents, during this period, one of my plot which I owned sometime back in 1983 was transferred without my concurrence/presence, transferred to my younger brother’s name. I would like to take it back legally as I have not signed the transferred documents. Tried hard to settle the matter amicably, which is not happening. Needs Legal assistance. What steps I have to take in light of Indian Law in this case. Please advice.
