yes it,s illegal to stay an unmarried couple in a hotel. otherwise you can tell the reception she’s my wife and just show your id card. if you are afraid infront of others it may cause more problems after you take a room. go ahead without fear. and frankly say she’s my wife. They willnot ask your marriage certifucate and all they ask only id proof.

perhaps not…if u dont do any illegal thing.
