I have recently rented a flat in noida with two of my colleague. so we had a rent agreement starting from 1st of August. Now we want to vacat the flat at the end of current month(sept).. Till now we have paid him security deposit of two months rent..

Now since we are vacating the flat at the end of second month. Our landlord is saying that we have to pay for the brokerage that he had to pay his property dealer..

Now since we have earlier paid the dealer our side of commission he wants us to pay for the commission he has paid to his own dealer. He is saying that he will cut that amount from the security deposit and will give the rest.

In the rent agreement their is no clause regarding this. Just 1 month notice is mentioned for vacating the flat.

What should i do in this situation.
