Is it true or false that ragging for freshers is a year-long feature in Law Schools of Bangluru and/or Hyderabad? Mental ragging if not physical ragging?
Thanks.

Couldnt say. I attend Law Center - II at Delhi University, and the question of ragging simply does not arise, as we’re all mostly working professionals.

To answer, yes there is a lot of mental harassment at NLSIU. If you dont fit in with the rest of the crowd (read: if you dont smoke or act cool or do drugs or sex) you get pretty much ostracised from the student body. My cousin had a very difficult time in her first two years, finally she gave up and “surrendered”and had an ok time after that. I know her mom used to have a lot is serious issues with her late nights and multiple boyfriends and staying out of campus and shit like that. Bottom line - dont come to law school if you’re not ready to lose your morals and virtue.
