Law firm placement packages

Hello there! I am a prospective CLAT 2013 candidate. Since I am not much aware of the law field or of the packages offered by the law firms, kindly let me know how the packages of NLSIU Bangalore, NALSAR Hyderabad, NLIU Bhopal, WBNUJS Kolkata and NLU Jodhpur have been!Also I have heard that many firms have even offered placement packages of upto 50 lakhs, though I am a bit cynical about it but please do away with my doubts.

50 lakh is a bit much though some US law firms in New York or London might pay nearly that much…

Well the packages appear to be ok! Well I am a bit confused as to what I should pursue for my graduation. I am a science student and been securing a rank amongst top 1500 students of my coaching(Resonance pvt.ltd.)however frankly speaking I have no interest in these science subjects, but then again its nothing like I love Law either, so I thought that since I cannot figure out my field of interest I would just try out and know about the packages.

well please keep helping out such lost and confused students like me. :)
