Internships and extra work

Hello all.
I am in my law school write now. I just wanted to ask that I am really interested in doing some extra work with some NGO’s ( just for the sake of my resume and I dont want it to be termed as my INTERNSHIP). Where can I get such type of internships in NGO’s?
Moreover, please update me in regard with the Internship thing. What all opportunities can I grab.
Its my first year and I am in JGLS!

If you are in 1st year of your law course, the best you can do is to join an NGO. work in any NGO is not just for certificate,it gives you an ocean of practical experience.
The NGO that i would prefer is PUCL i.e., people’s union for civil liberties, Rajasthan. it is renowned. gives a great exposure. you will have conversations with top notches in politics, litigation and judiciary.
