I’m having a awkward situation, very much like most of the family having son married and afterwards pressure from parent to leave their wife.

Well, coming to property, I was married and went out of country for over 10 years. My parents were never happy with my marriage even though it was a arrange marriage, and they never liked my wife. Being a good son, I tried to work out but at end it didn’t work out. I was out of country and had a minimum interaction with them on routine basis, but thet have dis-own me after my marriage.

My younger brother has been living with them and now controls all property and my parent are not willing to give me anything. Even i just asked to have a place to live, as I was planning to return to india. They’re distributing (not done yet, but claiming) to my brother and sisters. I even asked for a temporary place, while I settle down.

What can I do legally? All properties my father and mother’s name. May be not right now, but if I have to go court to claim property from my brother in future.
