criterian for internships

y is it that first year students are denied opportunities due to the fact that they have just begun der legal career n will have ample opportunities in future as well. and, the 2nd ground for denial of opportunities is incompetency. how can a first year student overcome dese probs?

This is a same problem I faced in the last few months but I guess its up to us to look at the right places.You should go ahead and look at opportunities at NGO’s.I just finished an internship at Sangama an NGO working in Bangalore for sexual minorities.It was a great experience and sometimes working in big firms is not everything.

but what if i ve already decided what I ve to do n neither I njoy working on nything else, nor do I ve d time for it?
