Salary for a 4th year with US experience

Hello,

I am a lawyer with 3 years experience as a patent lawyer in the USA. I would like to relocate to India. I am looking at AZB and some other top firms. Can you please shed some light on the salary levels at such firms for a 4th year associate? Also, is there any portability in patent work, or would I be re-branded as a corporate lawyer?

We are also working hard on a more detailed salary survey, which will hopefully we helpful.

Patents work generally pays at the bottom end of the scale though, and most large corporate firms do not do much patents work - that is handled by the large IP specialist firms, usually…
