we are living in a house for the past 40 years which was rented by my father in law.our landlord has been lately troubling us and is asking us to leave the house without any compensation.We do not have any alternate accommodation.As per our knowledge we know that we stand for a claim if the landlord wants so and we cant be forced to quit the house.

Since my father in law is really old and all the rents receipts are in his name what happens in case he passes away.Can me n my husband will be still entitled to receive the claim??
