A phone no. is giving me some warning sms,advisory sms and geeta shlokas, garud puran sms what i can do to handle it legally .How do i know who is sending.what is the law?

In case you are getting these messages from your service provider, you can dial 1909 and register for DND faciity whereby you shall have option to block partially or wholly all unwanted commercial calls and messages. In the other case, if you are receiving these msgs from a particular number, please register your complaint with the call center of the service provider. Obtain your docket number for the complaint registered. If they fail to resolve the issue, contact the Nodal officer of the service provider (mail id and tel nos of the Nodal officers are available on TRAI’s website) and if still unresolved, you can approach the appellate authority.
